Orlando Macchine
Orlando Macchine, company specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech machinery for the footwear and accessories industries, has focused its attention on the restyling of its machines in order to achieve a higher level of automation. A drive to this goal is also provided by the territory where the firm is headquartered, that is the footwear district of the Riviera del Brenta, chosen by renowned French brands as the perfect location for their luxury shoes’ development and production facilities. At the latest edition of Simac Tanning Tech, the Italian company exhibited its most famous technologies in an upgraded version, in line with the Industry 4.0 standards thanks to a investments plan that aims at fostering a steady innovation in terms of automation protocols and numerical control devices. More specifically, the upgrade was implemented on the CNC shaping machine for EVA soles and on a new type of soles brushing machine. “The domestic market is pretty much static,” stated Claudio Bettin, sales manager and corporate partner. However, the results reaped abroad are truly satisfying. “We have gained a strong foothold in Mexico, while the feedbacks from Poland are very positive. Less encouraging are the figures concerning India.” Orlando Macchine has kicked off 2018 with great enthusiasm and promising outlooks thanks also to the wide array of solution designed for the footwear sector, ranging from the Ideal processing technique to machines for insoles, for the hemming and assembly phases, up to the production of soles. www.orlandomacchine.it
