Pajusco Tecnologie, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art equipment for more than 60 years, launched a historic innovation during the Tanning Tech show
“We have created the first “App” for the tanning industry with which you can monitor in real time the production progress of your company in a simple, fast and effective way.” Making the announcement, during the 2022 edition of the Tanning Tech Show, was Olimpio Storti, Sales Manager and owner, together with his brothers Silvio and Giovanni, at the helm of Pajusco Tecnologie, based in Montebello Vicentino. A manufacturer for more than 60 years of cutting-edge equipment for the tanning industry, particularly automations and drums with related accessories.
“I personally followed the ‘Pajusco App’ project, named JDrum,” Storti points out with some satisfaction, “from the time of conception to when it became operational. I am proud I have been the first to launch it in the tanning sector, this represents a small “revolution.” We achieved this result with a large group of professionals, four companies, carrying out different tasks and joining forces, working for several months. The goal was to have everything ready for this fair, and we succeeded.”
But how does the operating system work? The entrepreneur himself explains. “After downloading the “App” it is possible to manage the drum through one’s cell phone, through which it is possible to trace back the work done, a series of values such as Ph and temperature, the number of batches, the amount of water in the machine and what is discharged. Such an “avalanche” of information applies not only to the single drum but also to the entire automation. Completion of the entire system will allow us to trace the daily cost of the drum and of the product. Another great advantage is derived from the fact that the “App” is able to warn in advance of any anomalies, effectively predicting the time, reporting precisely where the fault is located, so as to reduce the intervention time but above all the costs, because it is able to avoid a breakdown. Considering that we work in so many foreign countries, the system includes translation into many languages, including Russian, Polish and Czech, which we will then further expand. The system is very fast, just one click to switch from one language to another.”
The great innovation of Pajusco Tecnologie immediately registered great success at the Milan Fair. “The operators were favourably surprised,” admits the Sales Manager of the company, “I received a lot of compliments and several customers assured me of their intention to buy it. In fact, it is a system that generates benefits for everyone, especially for the entrepreneurs and tanneries’ managers, who in any location have real-time control of the situation. The system is set up so that it can be linked to the various automations connected to the drums. An additional advantage is derived from the fact that for the company, it will not be necessary to buy a new smartphone for their technicians and employees, but it will be enough to download the “App” on the cell phone that everyone already has. For this edition of the show, we presented other important innovations about automations and innovative filters, but the stand was set up to highlight the new JDrum “App.”
The problem of gas and energy costs? We were proactive because even before the main increases we installed solar panels on the premises, which now cover all over the facility, in that sense we were forward-thinking.”
