José Alexandre de Oliveira, president and grandson of Riopele’s founder, has clear ideas about the situation that the fashion system is experiencing: “The textile industry is suffering a lot, primarily due to climate change and now also to Covid. Smart working also contributed to the contraction in purchases. It is no longer a temporary emergency, we must try to be positive and find new solutions to catch up.”
