Cleandisc features a capacity from 5 to 100 m3/h and it’s useful whenever there are solid particles to be removed from the waste waters. At first, it was developed for tanneries but, through the years, it gradually entered other markets, such as food and beverage, agriculture, industrial laundries, etc. The innovative and patented system developed by SC Costruzioni Meccaniche is the evolution of a well known and widely tested machine, the rotating disc filter, which has been improved for an easier and quicker maintenance of the filtering nets. The innovative SC Costruzioni Meccaniche system allows to use the 100% of the filtering surface. The innovative solution designed by SC Costruzioni Meccaniche with Cleandisc is simple and effective. The centralised axis has been removed and the discs are mounted on driving rolls. This makes it easier to change the nets and skilled operators are no longer needed. Furthermore, the Cleandisc structure, in case of an augmented volume of water to be filtered, allows to connect a new machine to an existing one through an easy-plug system.
