Covid-19 seems to be definitively defeated and the optimism that emerges from this is very clear at Sintex, a company headquartered in Brendola (Vicenza province), specialized in the field of coating machines using transfer paper and fabrics.

The Veneto-based company carries out activities related to the textile and plastics industry as well as to the footwear sector that linked to the paper industry. For years, it has been successfully providing its clientele with first-rate services such as special machines designed for coating operations on fabrics and transfer paper, embossing lines for PVC and PU. It also deals with the manufacturing of pilot systems for coating, impregnation, printing, lacquering, and embossing on release paper, fabrics, hides and bonded leather.

“Thanks to the vaccination campaign – explain Giuliano Griffante and Alessandro Pizzeghello, respectively owner and commercial manager of Sintex – we are confident our lives will be back to normality; in the second half of 2021 there will be an important recover, for which we will be ready. Now we can travel again, not only throughout Europe but also in overseas: we need to travel all over the world to visit our customers and at the same time we they ask us when it will be possible to come to Italy.”

Sintex has brilliantly overcome the most difficult period, ensuring the implementation of a complete 50-meter long plant leather finishing, during the spring lockdown, all by means of a chat that connected about ten technicians and engineers in Italy and China for three weeks, for almost ten hours a day on average. “Despite being almost a family business – added Griffante and Pizzeghello – we haven’t even used one day of layoffs. During the spring of 2020 we dedicated some time to research and development, but then we resumed working at a fast pace. Also, in 2021 we never stopped, we got several orders, even ‘top-quality’ ones, at least until the end of the year. We have further improved our strengths, which we can divide into three categories: the synthetic sector, where we are increasing the use of waterbased and more performing products; leather finishing systems, aimed at sports footwear and the automotive sector; laboratory pilot plants, intended for very demanding customers.”
