A deep-rooted experience, innovation and research focusing on the Safety sector
Technical and coupled fabrics by Sire-Tex, a division of Siretessile, creates coupled technical fabrics for the production of footwear, clothing and furnishings. Among the materials of Siretessile a key role is given by the technical materials meant for the Safety sector: linings coupled with waterproof and breathable membranes, antistatic and conductive materials and fabrics, materials for making insoles.
But what makes Sire-Tex branded products unique? Definitely working side by side with the customer, to create the ideal item together, meeting the needs and requirements of the shoemakers. Behind this work, a key role is entrusted to the Research & Development office which studies to develop and create high-performance materials for insoles, patenting those that better pass the tests. The range of materials for insoles features products designed for the production of shearable, thermoformable and injection insoles, satisfying the demands of the different shoemakers and insole factories. Sire-Tex materials are made according to the most important regulations and standards required by the Safety sector. The collection features antistatic and conductive materials that are ideal for making insoles for those who work in certain environments and also for ESD footwear, as they fully meet the new CEI EN 61340-5-1: 2016 standard, which deals with the protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomena (ESDS). Alongside antistatic and conductive products, Siretessile also produces antibacterial materials for insoles made with special treatments or with the use of materials such as activated carbon. These products are designed for those sectors where particular attention to hygiene is required, such as healthcare. In addition, an aspect that is becoming increasingly important is the greater attention to the environment and new technologies: Siretessile is working to develop more and more eco-sustainable and recycled materials, also in the safety sector, paying attention to all the processes of product making.
