Ska Italia zippers has launched two investments projects aimed at inaugurating the upcoming winter season, in order to further improve customer care services. Besides the well-known metal zippers containing a lead-free brass alloy devised for the leather goods and footwear market segments (that is, Perfetta, Futura, Simmetrica and Techno), the company has arranged a stock of one hundred colours available for the chains 3, 5 and 8 in the light gold, platinum and ruthenium galvanic finishes.
Furthermore, the firm has developed a range of zippers made with anodized aluminium alloy, purposefully devised to meet the clientele’s requests concerning lightweight, fashionable solutions. The use of this material has resulted in the design of eye-catching, hemispherical-shaped teeth. www.skaitalia.com
Here is an overview of the latest innovations showcased in September by Ska Italia zippers at the exhibitions held in Munich and Paris as well as at Lineapelle:

Metal zippers made with a new aluminium alloy that perfectly combines lightness and strength as well as manages to anodize the teeth, thus resulting in durable colours;

Spherical teeth – a new metal zipper featuring innovative, hemispherical-shaped teeth,

Slider C56L – specifically designed for the leather goods sector, it features two distinctive traits: 1) the hole allows to couple, via a padlock, two convergent sliders;
2) the slider is provided with a carriage for rapid coupling, thus giving the chance to insert customized pulls without squashing the slider’s crown. In this way, both the crown and the galvanic finish are not damaged, while the assembling phase is further enhanced;

Sublimated sliders: this processing technique allows to copy all kinds of patterns and motifs on the raw slider.
