Among the different proposal displayed at the latest edition of Lineapelle, Vibram, world leader in the development and production of high performance rubber soles, launched the innovative concept Vibram Component Sole, a modular sole system suitable for a wide range of uppers and laces made of different materials, inspired by the concept ‘Do It Yourself’: the sole is enhanced as it is applied on a product that can be built entirely by hand and without the use of glue; the sole coupled with uppers in different fabrics and textures. The Carrarmato sole, available in three colors and two eco-compounds – Vibram Ecostep EVO, made of 30% recycled rubber, and N-OIL made of 90% natural materials – is the starting point to begin the customization of this project.
Two other innovations proposed at the fair stand out: Vibram One Shot Tech, a unique green technology that consists of a completely no glue manufacturing process, using only rubber and EVA and Vibram Idrogrip Flex, a lightweight, comfortable compound featuring high cushioning properties designed to increase the performance of ground fit even in urban and outdoor environments. The Vibram Wrap Tech sole, a concept that combines performance and lightness in an “wrapping” shape, also received the praise of visitors and buyers.
