To create extremely complex molds, it is necessary to take care of the different steps of the production process with the utmost attention. This takes place within an internal workshop where, thanks to great experience, professionalism and unceasing technical updating, it is possible to offer cutting-edge technological solutions.
As a specialist in cutting-edge solutions for safety, trekking, casual and sports footwear, Zago has become a market leader by offering its customers customized, high performance solutions, boasting high precision and a refined design, ensuring quick delivery times. During the design phase, 2D projects are developed to quickly and easily transmit the technical details; then, a 3D model is made, in order to provide a three-dimensional rendering. The “Computer- Aided Manufacturing” develops a tool, subsequently sent to the numerical control machines, for the construction of the final product, which will be the perfect copy of the model defined in the start-up phase. Always focusing on an all-round customer assistance, the client is supported in co-design so to control the entire design phase together, step by step. The most advanced technological knowledge offers customers the possibility to check the final result of the project even before building the mold. Finally, a high-resolution physical model (maquette) offers a choice between different stylistic options that will be integrated into the mold.
In over 60 years, the leading products are still the injection molds in combination with Rubber-PU materials; very light and at the same time resistant to abrasion, they are used mainly for trekking footwear, military and police shoes. Furthermore, there are injection molds in combination of TPU-PU materials for light and flexible multicolored soles. Even in this case, resistance to abrasion and lightness are noteworthy. Finally, worth of a mention are the injection molds for PU-PU and Rubber-PU safety boots, used in medium-high risk work areas such in the health and food sectors. The company works in six product categories: Safety / Workplace; Trekking / Uneven Ground; Casual / Everyday Work; Outdoor / Outdoor Sport; Defense / Tactical Situation and Outdoor / Thermo Grip Environment. Moreover, the Postural / Healthy Walk category has been recently conceived.
