“The Russian market is and remains exciting, just like CPM MOSCOW and the orders placed here.”

Thomas Stenzel, Managing Director Messe Düsseldorf Moscow
With these words Thomas Stenzel, Managing Director of the trade fair organizer Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, sums up the 33rd edition of Collection Première Moscow – CPM, one of the most complete events in the fashion industry in Russia. A rich and compact review, divided by areas, which once again stood out for the wide range of products on display, the interesting thematic areas and above all for the encouraging closing-data recorded: this year the entries were over 21 thousand and exhibitor from 30 countries have been around 1300 brands. “Despite the uncertainty arising from the implementation of the new labeling law, which should come into force at the end of 2019, the booths were all booked and during the event they were packed with visitors,” said Christian Kasch, CPM’s International Project Manager.

“This confirmed once again that interest in international fashion is still very strong in Russia and Eastern Europe.”
The giant exhibition center Expocentre Moscow and its 16 halls well host CPM MOSCOW, during which every brand, carefully selected, is placed in the right segment, in order to better facilitate the influx of visitors and allowing each to be as visible as possible.
During the four-day fair, as always, interesting seminars and business meetings took place, such as the ‘WGSN Trends Seminar’, Shop & Retail solutions’ and ‘Russian Fashion Retail Forum’, which this year focused on very interesting topics, such as digitization, e-commerce, customer loyalty and global trends, as well as marketing and technologies related to online commerce.
Great attention was paid to the CPM Body & Beach side-event, which offered a complete overview on lingerie, home and beachwear production with around 150 exhibitor brands from 25 countries. The edition number 34 is already scheduled next February 2020, 24- 27. www.cpm-moscow.com
