In a time of ecologically unsound fast fashion, native Sicilian and San Francisco based designer Gianna Caravello was inspired by the idea to make her first bag out of an ecological material possessing appeal, story and quality.
She turned to classic Italian methods applying modern and sustainable practices. In 2019 she launched MODHER (the combination of the words modern and leather), a high-end line of understated, sustainable and timeless leather accessories for women.
