Lasts, heels and accessories: this is the core business of the Campania-based company, as it provides top-quality articles, made swiftly and with cutting-edge technologies. Starting as a small artisan workshop, Formificio Manfredini was established in 1957 by Francesco Manfredini and, over the years, it has experienced a steady growth resulting not only in the widening of the product portfolio – as the Heels Department was opened in 1980 -, but also in the enlargement of the corporate premises, as well as in the implementation of cutting-edge, automated equipment and interconnected systems, in line with the Industry 4.0’s standards.
An all-Italian enterprise, synonymous with excellence and professionalism, chosen as the ideal partner by some of the world’s most prominent luxury brands – more than 60 years of history that blend craft tradition and technological innovation, a strong regard for the past and a forward-looking attitude. Said results have been achieved thanks to the passion and to the dedication shown by three generations of the Manfredini family as well, always ready to fulfill the market’s ever-changing needs.

The corporate know-how focuses on the design, sampling and manufacturing of lasts, heels and accessories: the pattern-making and prototyping departments work side by side with the clientele, with fashion stylists, designers and shoe factories, putting at their disposal skills and experience, supported by state-of-the-art tools and facilities as well as by a fully automated range of machines.
As far as lasts are concerned, the firm can make in two hours all types of samples, for men, women and children, featuring a daily production capacity of 400 pairs – articles in line with the latest trends, conceived to perfectly fit the foot’s anatomy and its technical parameters. In terms of heels and accessories, on the other hand, the company relies on innovative CAD/CAM software programmes, 3D scanners and printers, on mould-making technologies and on the valuable contribution of the in-house mechanical workshop provided with machining centres, lathes and CNC. The range of materials used is very wide, as is the array of finishes and processing techniques, so as to meet even the most demanding requests. In this case, the daily production capacity amounts to 15 thousand pairs.
The production cycle is carefully monitored throughout all its phases, thus guaranteeing to the clientele the utmost compliance with the highest quality standards and a flawless service. Last but not least, Formificio Manfredini is a forefront when it comes to environmental safeguard, to waste reduction and to the implementation of sustainable, low-impact practices, by investing in the recovery, disposal and recycling of plastics (ABS, styrofoam, polyurethane, polyethylene). www.formificiomanfredini.it
