Misaf, ready for its first edition, scheduled to be held in Milan June 15-17, 2019 MISAF, the first footwear fair organized in Italy by Asian manufacturers in order to give visibility to their products and open up to the Italian and European market, thus promoting the industrial cooperation between Europe and Asia, will be held in Milan next June 15-17. The location chosen for MISAF – Milan Shoes & Accessories Fair- is the East End Studios placed in via Mecenate (Studio 90).

More than 100 exhibitors will come mainly from the provinces of the Chinese footwear district: Zhejiang (famous for the industrial production of leather and fake leather items), Fujian (the most important sports shoe manufacturing area in the world), Guangdong (mid-level shoe district) and Sichuan (mainly processing women’s shoes). These company already work with the European and American market – in Europe they export an average of one to ten million dollars every year.

Their goal is to become trustful partners of the private labels, as well as to display their coolest, successful brands. Among the exhibitors, companies that produce for Baolite, Lapps, Runxin, Goodyear, but also luxury brands like Sheme and big brands such as O Kangnai Group Co. and Clorts – the latter leader in innovation applied to outdoor shoes. The show focuses on the shoe massive production, a business that well combines the quality-price-design ratio, in favor of the final consumer, offering, as the MISAF claim goes: ‘shoes for everyone’. Through many proposals for men, women and children, the show aims at becoming a professional reference platform for the massive footwear industry: a meeting point gathering producers, designers and buyers for a fruitful mutual cooperation. www.misaf.it

The fair is promoted by Plum Solution – a company that fosters exchanges between Europe and China – and by the Chinese National Chamber of Commerce. “We chose Milan because it connects well with both the north and the south of Europe. Our ambition is to make MISAF the professional reference platform for the massive footwear industry; the meeting point between producers, designers and buyers for a fruitful mutual cooperation. The proposals for men, women and children that will be showcased at the fair represent a good balance between quality, design and price,” explained Ying Wang, General Secretary of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Footwear.
