Formerly known as ILOE, the new initiative reflects many new, positive and strong proactive changes, all designed to make for a more diverse, distinct and stimulating show.
Scheduled for June 8, 9 & 10, Studios at ILOE will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, more commonly known as Salt Palace. One of the most significant changes is that the show will showcase a broad base of classifications – beyond fur and outerwear. Among the new categories that will be featured include luxury apparel, ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories.
While the former ILOE show featured primarily fur and luxury outerwear exhibitors, the new Studios at ILOE has broadened the mix of products represented. By doing so, a widely expanded consortium of specialty stores and boutiques is expected to attend.
“We have listened to our exhibitors over the past seven years of ILOE,” said Al Zuckerman of Studios Team. “They have been wanting the show to attract an increased number of retailers reflecting the diversities of their collections. Expanding the categories that will be featured at Studios at ILOE will prove to be a magnet to attract an extensive number of retailers nationwide.”
Booths will reflect a more modern and updated design layout. As for the floorplan, the fur and outerwear companies from the original ILOE show will have their booths interspersed throughout the floor space. This will increase their traffic as the retailers are walking all the aisles throughout the three-day event, thus allowing them to see the collections of companies they may not have initially known about.
Two hotels are offering special rates to all guests. The four-star Hilton is across the street from the Salt Palace and the five-star Grand American is a few minutes away. A special discount code is being coordinated with Delta, the official airline for
Studios at ILOE, that has direct flights from New York, Chicago, Toronto, Amsterdam and Paris. Four top-rated steak houses in downtown Salt Lake City will satisfy hearty appetites. Several special events, seminars and fashion presentations are also being planned during the show. Studios at ILOE is working closely with Salt Lake County and the State of Utah to ensure strict COVID guidelines are in place. The show itself will have wider aisles and will have guests’ temperature checked throughout each day. Masks will be required, and hand sanitizers will be readily available throughout the show.
“We are very optimistic about this renewed direction of Studios at ILOE,” said Scott Bernstein of Studios Team. “After COVID challenged our industry as well as all of us on personal levels, we are excited about this unique opportunity to reunite and propel the industry forward together.”
Studios at ILOE has the full support of the Salt Lake City Tourism Board.
